Many of us adore India!  We return time and time again to discover yet another of its hidden gems.

Come and discover the amazing cultural diversities of Southern India as we explore the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu; from the Malabar Coast in the west to the Coromandel Coast in the east. We’ll be visiting the World Heritage site of Hampi with its captivating landscape and spend time in beautiful Cochin situated on the Malabar Coast.

We’ll explore an area architecturally rich with imposing temples where decorated elephants, pilgrims and Hindu rituals are a part of everyday life, flamboyant and colorful. Weekly markets, eclectic bazaars and bustling towns, a spice farm and a memorable 3-night stay at a family-run Heritage Hotel in Chettinad, home to Tamil Nadu’s merchant community, are just some of our very special day-to-day experiences… with superb photo opportunities!

Meet the people behind the scenes of some inspiring initiatives that stand for an ethical way of doing business, that use traditional skills to create products of beauty and quality for an ever-growing appreciative market, and empower rural communities.  Some of our visits include the Banjara women with their distinctive mirror work embroidery as well as a natural dye and weaving project up in the high hills of Kerala, surrounded by tea plantations.

The beauty of southern India is a feast for the senses … come with the spirit of adventure!

“Thank you for providing such a wonderful trip! It was handled so well and I feel as though we really experienced many different aspects of South India. I’m sorting it out after coming back with a swirl of sights, sounds, and spices. That would have been great in itself and then the group was such fun. I really enjoyed getting to know them and their sense of humor.  But the part that was most amazing was that it felt like a pilgrimage for me. I very much appreciate all you brought to the trip.”
